Swing The...Mood

Ballroom Dance Program

Swing The...Mood program has been inspired by the works of Pierre Dulaine. Pierre Dulaine’s program Dancing Classrooms has recently been featured as the premise for the movie Take The Lead and Mad Hot Ballroom. Swing The...Mood offers Ballroom dance classes in our local elementary schools for grades 6 to 8. Students concentrate on a total of 4 dance styles throughout the year which culminate in a Ballroom Dance Off between all school. Swing… The Mood was made possible in 2006 through a seed grant from the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation.
