Creative Drama

Introduce your young preschool aged child to a world of imagination through games, stories and dramatic play.

Ages 2—4 years

 

Musical Theatre For Young Children

Through Musical Theatre students will explore wild journeys of the imagination.

Ages 5—8

 

Dramatic Theatre For Youth

Term 1 will be comprised of scene studies, theatre writing, monologues and improvisation.

Term 2 will be in preparation for the junior student year end showcase.

Ages 8—14

 

Dramatic Theatre

Dramatic Theatre offers a complete major dramatic theatre production experience.

Teen/Adult: 14+

 

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre offers a complete major musical theatre production experience. All participants will receive a role on stage. Auditions are held prior to classes beginning in order to determine where each person best fits in the script. Auditions are held in conjunction with a workshop to teach basic vocal techniques, general drama techniques, backstage etiquette and stage projection.

Children: Ages 8—14

Teen/Adult: 14+

 

Classical Acting—The Shakespearian Way

Learn how to perform scenes from Shakespearian plays. Learn proper techniques for creating a dramatic character, prepare for a monologue and learn from the Stanislavski approach to acting.

Ages: Youth to Adult

 

Puppet Theatre

Students will use Puppets to create a very unique and magical show.

 

The Art of Comedy

Join a “nutty” bunch of amateur comedians and learn how to tickle people’s funny bone.

Improv For Teens

Learn the art of improvisation. This quick thinking and often zany technique will culminate in a show in the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway”.

Acting For The Mature Theatre Lover (50+)

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to say those lines from your favorite dramas and comedies with other like minded grow-ups—here is your chance.

Stage Management

Learn how to manage what goes on backstage during a production and put your knowledge to use during one of our shows.

Stage Production

Learn how the inter workings of the production side of theatre—sound, lighting and set design.

The Art of Directing

Students will hone their directing skills by learning how to block scenes through planning and organization.
